OLD SCHOOL 1
design worked on Harley-Davidson Sportster
Luxurious and sophisticated design rich in retro decorations from 'belle époque' school in Paris.
Patterns, curves forms, and parallel swirls run and wrap in a game of fractal lines.
An essential and suggestive game of shapes, juxtaposed, now positively now negative.
To enrich the design a contrasting note: the linear hint of curls and flames which further embellish the artwork.
The surface of the famous Sportster tank is completely covered with the timeless and fascinating technique of metal flake, here inlaid with 24 carat gold leaf details in in contrast.
Made with metallic flakes are applied in several dry layers in various weights and prismatic shapes.
Our special dry technique, which differs from the usual use of sprayed metallic flakes suspended in transparent color, gives the volume of the object extreme brightness and
diamond brilliance.

In collaboration with the workshop BIKE IN BLACK of Giacomo Bielli and Mauro Fanton, the peanuts tank "Old School 1" was mounted on a Harley Davidson Sportster Evo 1200.
The aggressive but extremely stylish and brilliant aesthetic impact of this special bike has attracted the attention of the famous magazine LOW RIDE who has dedicated an editorial on February 2015.
